It seems like just yesterday I was talking about Microsoft's annual VS Code Day, which is once again just a few days away. VS Code Day 2024 is scheduled to live stream on Wednesday, April 24 at 1PM EST.
According to the site's description, here is what this year's program has to offer:
"VS Code Day is our annual event where you'll learn how to elevate your development workflow with the latest and greatest features of VS Code. This year, we’re excited to delve into AI and you’ll hear from the VS Code team and other industry experts on topics like AI-powered programming with GitHub Copilot, building and deploying generative AI apps to the cloud, enhancing the C# development experience, and more."
There are 10 sessions scheduled but if you happen to miss any of them, they will be posted on the VS Code YouTube channel. You can also watch a 30-second promo for the event here.
You'll notice the promo says the event covers two days, but the April 23 portion is referred to as a "pre-show".
Now on to this week's hand-picked links!

VS Code Theme of the Week
|
Rainglow — Not a new project and not only for VS Code, but this is a giant collection of more than 300 themes that can be used in different text editors and apps.
I like that many of the themes (which include both light and dark examples) also include a "contrast" version of the same theme. The one I'm showing in the screenshot is called "Chocolate Contrast" and it's just one that caught my eye. But that's just the tip of the iceberg, as there are tons to choose from here!
