In case you missed it, the VS Code team had one of their big virtual live events last week, this one entitled VS Code Live: Agent Sessions Day.

According to the video description, the event featured the VS Code team engaging in "live demos showing how VS Code enables agentic development." They also covered "how developers are using agents, customizable workflows, and open integrations to build smarter."

VS Code Live: Agent Sessions Day

The video is time-stamped, so here are a few highlights you may want to check out: It seems like it was quite a popular live stream, because the full-length video has well over 50k views (although a few of the comments weren't that favourable).

And in case you don't want to use the full-length live stream to go through the content, they've posted clips of most of the primary sections I linked above on their main video feed.

Now on to this week's hand-picked links!

Kinnitchi Neon Theme for VS Code

The one shown above is the "Neon Dark" and there's also a "Neon". The "dark" one is a little less neon than the other and doesn't have the strong emphasis on cyan in the syntax highlighting, which the regular "Neon" one has.
